Great Minds etc

I had known Coral from our days in the Civil Service.  However, I had not met Paul until my wife Kim joined the Sudbrooke Gardening Club which Paul attended regularly in latter years.

We became good friends when we discovered we both loved movies and music.  After I hadbeen ill a couple of years ago I had forgotten how to connect up my super hi-fi system.  I told Paul of my dilemma and within a couple of days he had visited us and resolved the matter.  Subsequently we shared evenings of indian cuisine during which he endured my ridiculous sense of humour whilst I compensated him with the loan of countless blu-ray movies.  In short - we got on famously - something we managed to sustain post diagnosis.  He had an incredible intellect and was well read in a number of fields that interested him.

Late in the day, but we were good, very good friends.

We loved him and we will love his memory.  We must think of Coral’s loss and those who have supported her in these last days.  God Bless you all.
